Currently the BOT are focused on school improvements. This can happen only with money in regards physical up grades. They are easy wins with parents and also the school to be seen as pushing further into improvements. This is an aspect of governance and it keeps the BOT focused on future rather than past.
School cycle of review shows that we have dropped ball on Maori and Pasifika families. This was strong due to time however this has gone due to my time re ACC Kahui Ako.
I will revisit this once my role finishes.
