Ensuring that all voices within the school context have a say and feel valued in who they are what they contribute is so important.
Making sure opportunities are there for families to engage is also important and this sets with school set up and culture.
These include Cultural days, Cultural weeks and language experiences, Focuses in the school foyer and use of terms and words in school newsletters and correspondence to parents and community.
Often this can be hard as initiatives don't last and so you need to be thinking of new ways and ideas to engage
